Welcome to RellasMom.com, a personal blog about my crazy day to day life. Our family dynamic is not "normal" by any means. We don't live 9 to 5. Our weekends sometimes begin on Tuesdays. Holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries don't exist. Dinner is served at 8am. Picking up hookers is encouraged. And I'm what many call a "married-single parent". Scared yet? Don't be. We're a police family; My husband, PoPo is a police officer and I am a former PreK teacher - turned Stay At Home Mom. We have one very large Beast dog and two very unique kids. Farmer G is my oldest. He's my Earth loving, future organic farmer, obsessed with Doctor Who. Rella is my little one with a big mouth, who is fiercely independent.

Since changing my path, I've learned how to budget a very small salary to fit the needs for our family of four without feeling like we're missing out on the good stuff. I work very hard to save money in all aspects of our life, whether its on our grocery bill, discounted events, or even DIY projects around the house.
